A pharmacy worker has been awarded £2,000 by the Croydon Employment Tribunal after it was found she suffered harassment relating to age.
Anna Stewart was notified on March 2 that one of her complaints against a pharmacy with the registered name of LP SD Seventy Limited had succeeded.
This followed a hearing that took place over February 18-19 this year.
Ms Stewart’s successful claim of harassment related to age arose “from comments made by the pharmacist” where she worked on November 3, 2024.
Other complaints of harassment related to age did not succeed.
A separate claim of direct age discrimination was judged not to be well-founded and was dismissed by the tribunal.
LP SD Seventy Limited, which formed part of the LloydsPharmacy estate until the summer of 2023, was told to pay £2,000 to Ms Stewart as agreed compensation.
P3pharmacy has approached the pharmacy's present directors for comment.
